How do I write a Bibliography

St Bernard’s College uses the APA referencing style.

A bibliography is a list of all resources used in researching your work.

• It should be included in any task that involves research, as sources of information need to be acknowledged.

• Copying work directly from resources is plagiarism. Plagiarism is the unacknowledged use of another’s words and ideas. It is a serious breach of college rules and the penalties can be severe. See college policies for further details.

• Students should acknowledge resources used in writing their work. This can be done via the footnotes or within the body of the text. Your teachers can assist you with this skill.

The four basic elements of a reference list entry in APA style are: Author, Initials. (Date). Title. Publication information.
